Yes, slowly but surely I am making my way though this piece. There are a lot of stitches involved with Swedish weaving but I really enjoy the process. It is much easier on the eyes then other methods of stitching but that doesn't mean that I won't be doing this type forever. I think that once I finish this one I will be doing another Punch Needle piece. I am trying to decide what I want to do as far as my pattern. This is where I am at now on my current piece.
I have the pattern for doing the Cross stitch of the Decorah Eaglets that were on Ustream. It is an awesome pattern and was so enjoyable watching the eaglets grow up and leave the nest. So sad to see them leave but like all chlidren the empty nest is a sign that life goes on. The pattern is called "Soar" by With thy Needle and Thread cross stitch designs.
I do believe that I am going to try and make it into a punch needle though. Might be a bit of a challenge but never let it be said that I didn't give it the ole Jan try. I never say never as I always seem to be able to do anything that I tackle as I only tackle things that I am sure that I can complete. heheh Thats a safe out for me. Hehe
