My first try at Rug Hooking

Well, this wouldn't be my choice of pattern but I am absolutely enjoying the rug hooking technique. Yes, you can now add one more notch to my belt of needle working techniques. This isn't exactly needle work but within the limits of hand crafting.

This is where I stand so far. I am adding figures as I go along. The scarecrow was the only part of the challenge in the forum.
Moving right along. Now I am going to add some corn stalks behind them and finish up the background. Do ya like him? He isn't too scary is  he?
