Just wanted to share

I am working on my first rug hooking and I am using yarn. I can see the benefits of using wool so that is what I will use next time but this is my first attempt and I am using Kara's Rooster as my inspiration. I am also using burlap which is a little too loose weave. All in all though I think it is looking pretty cute. I will also do Kara's Rooster in punch needle next.

My Spring Swap

This is a Spring Swap that I will be sending out. I can't wait for my swap partner to get it. I love the drum pin cushion, I think it looks cute with the punch needle rabbit on it. Then to top it off I am adding Miss Rebecca Bunny too.

Kara's Rooster

Very cute blog and I have been granted permission by the artist and her mother to use her painting. I think it is very primitive and adorable and I can see it in a needle work project.
